Manchester City’s home ground has not welcomed an English men’s game since the spring of 2016, when the Turkish team were overcome 2-1 in a warm-up game, but is almost certain to host the England side for their inaugural game on June 10, 2028. The team are set to play their concluding group fixtures at the national stadium, but, if they top the preliminary round, their knockout stage opener would be held at the Newcastle stadium. Placing second would mean commencing the knockouts at Everton’s Hill Dickinson Stadium. Tournament Kickoff and Rally The championship was inaugurated at an event in Piccadilly Circus on the previous evening.
